AI AM: Drawing, therefore I am
Illustration for the open call of Illustrifestival, for the exhibition “AI AM: Disegno dunque sono,” an event that explores the relationship between artificial intelligence and creativity through 100 self-portraits created by talented Italian illustrators.
The concept of this illustration is an interpretation of Pirandello’s theory of the mask, which represents the human being as a mosaic of roles, emotions, and personalities, constantly shifting depending on the context and social dynamics. Each mask in my self-portrait reveals a different side of me: from the public to the private, from dreams and desires to the hidden insecurities. A project that, with irony and introspection, reflects on the complexity of human identity.

Illustrazione per la open call di Illustrifestival, in occasione della mostra “AI AM: Disegno dunque sono”, un evento che esplora il rapporto tra intelligenza artificiale e creatività attraverso 100 autoritratti realizzati da talentuosi illustratori italiani. Il concept di questa illustrazione è un’interpretazione della teoria della maschera pirandelliana, che rappresenta l’essere umano come un mosaico di ruoli, emozioni e personalità, in continua evoluzione a seconda del contesto e delle dinamiche sociali. Ogni maschera del mio autoritratto svela un lato diverso di me: dal pubblico al privato, dai sogni e desideri alle insicurezze più nascoste. Un progetto che, con ironia e introspezione, riflette sulla complessità dell’identità umana.
