Ciao! I’m Alessandro Nicoli, a freelance illustrator based in Vicenza, Italy.

The outskirts and the urban fabric are my natural territory: concrete, buildings, provincial life and the people who inhabit it. Not as a backdrop, but as a living ecosystem reimagined through an ironic eye, occasionally veering into the absurd. Pop culture, films and comics shaped the way I look at the present: a colourful, direct and deforming lens through which I read places, people and small social short circuits. I create illustrations for editorial projects, cultural initiatives and brands, building pop images through sharp geometric forms, material grain and a voice that never takes itself too seriously. I have worked with Corriere della Sera, La Stampa, Il Sole 24 Ore, L’Espresso, Il Foglio and Regione Veneto.

Ciao! Mi chiamo Alessandro Nicoli e sono un illustratore freelance vicentino. Periferia e urbano sono il mio territorio naturale: cemento, palazzi, la provincia e chi la abita. Non come sfondo, ma come ecosistema vivo reimmaginato con uno sguardo ironico, talvolta assurdo. La cultura pop, i film e i fumetti con cui sono cresciuto hanno costruito il mio modo di osservare il presente: una lente colorata, diretta e deformante attraverso cui leggere luoghi, persone e piccoli cortocircuiti sociali. Ho realizzato illustrazioni per l’editoria, progetti culturali e brand, costruendo immagini pop attraverso sintesi geometriche spigolose, grana materica e una voce che non si prende mai troppo sul serio.
